Chevrolet Malibu 350 V8 1972

General description : Up for sale we have a 1972 Chevy Malibu. This is a true one owner car that was bought new in Atlanta, GA. We have the warrant card and window sticker along with the deal sheet where it was bought. This car has had a repaint and a new set of seat covers installed at some point in its life.Everything is covered in the color code 63 Mohave Gold that is accented by the Medium Tan Vinyl Top which is the factory combination for this car. When you look at the body it's solid and straight with good gaps. The glass all looks very good. The trim shows some age, but is still nice for a car it's age. As for the bumpers and other chrome they also appear to have been replaced at the time of the repaint. The wheels were changed to a set of SS wheels 15x7 that are nice with new tires.
On the inside it all done look it would have been stock being done in the Antique Medium Tan. It has the bench seat and column shift. The seat covers, carpet, and door panels have been replaced. It retains the factory seat belts front and back. When you look at the dash it's as it was in '72 down to the factory radio.
Under the hood it's powered by and all original drivetrain with the Matching Numbers Engine, Trans, and original Rear End. It's a 350 V8 that's mated to a 350 Turbo Trans and a 10 Bolt Rear End. It all looks as it did in '72 with painted engine, stock valve covers and stock breather. This is a factory A/C car that works. It also has Power Steering and Power Brakes. When you put this car up on a rack the floors are solid and have never been undercoated.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
