Chevrolet Master 1939

General description : Classic styling with modern underpinnings makes this 1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe a treat to cruise and show. This is a full custom build that includes fuel-injected V8 power, an overdrive transmission, upgraded suspension, a custom leather-lined air conditioned interior, and so much more.
Meadow Green was a masterful and fitting touch when painting this custom all steel pre-war Chevy. The classic sleek lines, polished grill and chrome bumpers were retained for an authentic look, while upgraded clear headlights, tinted windows, frenched license plate, lowered suspension, and competition-style American Racing Torq Thrust wheels all come together to announce a custom street rod has arrived.
Just like the exterior, cool vintage Chevy style is retained in the interior. The dash keeps its Art Deco style and trim these cars are known for. But what really attracts you to this one is the full custom luxury that was added. It starts with the modern, power-adjusted, front bucket seats finished in supple leather. Plush carpeting, custom door panels, and suede headliner further the modern luxury feel. And because the car has been lovingly maintained since restoration, it all remains looking and feeling fresh. The rear seats have individual bolstering, a fold-down armrest, and plenty of legroom. So this is the kind of classic that really can be shared with plenty of friends. And they all stay comfortable thanks to an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo, cup holder center console, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. And there are plenty of treats reserved for just you. The sports steering wheel is mounted on a polished Ididit tilt column, and it gives you a clear view to the bright panel full of crisp VDO gauges.
The dual opening butterfly hood gives unobstructed views of the ultra-tidy engine bay showcasing a Tuned Port Injected 350 V8 borrowed from a C4 Corvette. A Jet Performance chip, shorty headers, and a Griffin aluminum radiator w/electric fan enhance performance, while an automatic overdrive transmission keeps engine rpms in check. And make no mistake, this Sedan was built for more than show. Tubular A-arm independent front suspension, rack & pinion power steering, power front disc brakes, and front & rear sway bars make it a pleasure to drive.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
