General description :
Der Triumph TR4 wurde erstmals 1961 vorgestellt. Die Karosserie wurde von dem italienischen Automobildesigner Giovanni Michelotti entworfen. Das Fahrwerk und der Motor wurden mit einigen Modifikationen vom Vorgänger TR3A übernommen. Das 4-gang Getriebe mit Overdrive ist vollsynchronisiert und ist für die erstaunlichen sportlichen Fahrleistungen mitverantwortlich. Insgesamt entstanden knapp über 40.000 Stück handlichen TR4 Roadster.
Dieser rassige Roadster wurde Erstausgeliefert in den USA. Der langjährige Deutsche Vorbesitzer hat ihn 2004 importiert und nach Restauration bis 2016 pfleglich benutzt. Ausgestattet mit zeitgenössischen Sportsitzen, Drahtspeichenfelgen und authentischen Zusatzscheinwerfer ist dieser sympatische Roadster der Hinkucker auf jeder Oldtimerveranstaltung. Sie sind rar geworden, diese sympatischen englischen Sportwagen. Heute befindet sich dieser TR4 in einem ausgezeichneten sehr gepflegten Zustand und profitiert immer noch von seiner aufwendigen Restauration 2004/2005. Die Ausstattung ist komplett, der Innenraum sehr gepflegt. Motor, Fahrwerk, Bremse und Getriebe sind vor kurzem gewartet. Mit der perfekten Farbkombination "racing" grün mit schwarzer Innenausstattung ist dieser Roadster eine rassige Erscheinung. Seine Fahrleistungen sind sehr dynamisch. Das Roadsterfeeling ist einfach phänomenal, der kernige Sound begeistert! In Fachkreisen wird dem Triumph TR4 ein weiteres Wertsteigerungspotenzial prognostiziert. Es wird schwierig, ein vergleichbar guterhaltenes Auto auf dem Markt zu finden.
