Chevrolet 3100 350 V8 1950

General description : A+ RESTO, 350 V8, HEIDTS, 4-LINK, AC, COILOVERS, 4 WHL DISCS, PS, SHOW QUALITY

Advanced Design Chevy trucks seem to be one of the hottest vintage pickups going because they combine an upright tough appearance with some of the sleek lines that make other GM products iconic in the '50s. So we're always excited to have a 1950 Chevrolet 3100 pickup like this one that perfectly blends vintage style with new amenities – like a powerful V8, A/C interior, and fully upgraded suspension.
The restoration was a careful creation to make sure it's the kind of body that draws attention from everyone. The butter-smooth black paint highlights just how amazingly straight the panels are. This helps you see all the best elements of the exterior, like the alligator hood, full-length step rails, real wood truck bed, and curvaceous fenders. But the paint is only the beginning. Rivaling it for shine is the mirror-like bumper, complete trim, and the iconic five-slat grille that looks like an Art Deco skyscraper. And that's just the investment in the vintage pieces. This one also instantly announces it's something quite special with the lowered suspension and custom roll pan. And the clincher for this custom attitude comes from the large 17-inch Ridler wheels.
Inside is more of that gloss black, and now it's joined by new tasteful saddle on the door panels and seats. It's the kind of quality and color combo that you'd expect on a luxury car, not a vintage truck. In fact, you have other nice luxury features like an AM/FM/CD stereo, power steering, and ice-cold R134a air conditioning. And as you slip behind the sports steering wheel, and glare at the full gauge panel, you realize that the upgrades are not just about comfort – it's about performance, too.
When you lift the hood, the whole engine bay looks clean and mean. The glossy black on the fender walls and firewall funnel your attention to all the polished components on this 350 cubic-inch V8. More than just look great, this is a powerful setup with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, Accel HEI super coil, aluminum radiator w/electric fan, and ceramic coated headers that add power while also contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust. This enhanced V8 feeds a B&M TH400 three-speed automatic transmission with a Lokar shifter, so you know it can handle the extra power. And make sure you look at the undercarriage photos. There you'll not only spot a very clean build, but also all the upgraded suspension components. This features a Heidts front end with tubular A-arms and a strong four-link rear. Plus, behind every wheel are adjustable coilovers and slotted & vented disc brakes.
This is the kind of classic pickup that sacrifices nothing. You can be a big hit at your next event without having to leave the air-conditioned comfort of your driver's seat. This kind of appeal means the truck won't be with us long. Call today!!!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
