Description : Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is excited to present this eye-catching 1982 Chevrolet C10 Stepside for sale. At first glance, it may look "normal", but it's most certainly anything but! Kevin Brasuell's B&B Automotive (of Lufkin, TX) skillfully executed the House of Kolor "Katchme Kopper II" exterior, and it's so nicely done that it could pass for factory paintwork. The copper-colored paint offsets the MAR-K red oak wood bed, which is equipped with stainless steel strips. Carrying the exterior theme into the interior, Brasuell selected another House of Kolor shade of copper, using "Katchme Kopper I" for a subtle transition. The tan and brown interior was outfitted by Starr Auto Trim (Livingston, TX), and it really complements the Katchme Kopper theme, and it looks almost new. The dash has been upgraded to house a full set of Autometer Sport Comp Gauges, so you've got a competition-inspired look, and much better data than the old warning light dash setup had. A Kenwood AM/FM/CD head unit sends the audio signal to the big JVC amp under the seat, and then out to the Infinity TriAx speakers hidden in custom enclosures behind the seat. A lot of love (and money) went into this build, but we haven't even told you about the fun part yet! Under the hood is a Mast Motorsports 6.0L LY6 V8, which on the engine dyno put out 483.3 HP and 453.1 Lb-Ft of torque! Backing that potent bullet is a custom-built GM TH350 3-speed automatic transmission by Steptoe Transmissions (Lufkin, TX). Exhaust is handled by a 3-inch Magnaflow dual setup with stainless tips, so the sound is just right. This bad boy rides on a complete set of adjustable QA1 gas shocks, and Nitto-shod American Racing TorqueThrust wheels, so you'll discover that it handles surprisingly well. Additional features of this cool '82 C10 include cold R134a A/C, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seatbelts, and Tilt Steering Wheel. This is a very nicely executed restoration, and it's ready for its next home. Call or email our Houston Showroom and get it before someone else does!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
