The two-toned paint theme, red with a white top, is how the car was originally painted and was kept this way during the restoration. The chrome trim, bumpers, and grille are all in fantastic condition. New white wall tires, spinner hubcaps, and set of fender skirts makes this 1950's car scream American Classic. The red/white vinyl seating has been kept original due to the Superb Condition. The dash is painted red, has red carpeting, and a white vinyl headliner to keep the cars theme flowing smoothly. Under the hood is a very detailed and organized engine bay. This car is claimed to have its original numbers matching 292 cu in, Y-block from the Thunderbird, producing 188 hp with the standard automatic transmission or 198 with the Merc-O-Matic. The 1955 Monterey used independent ball-joint front suspension and brake size was increased from the previous model. This car has A/C with had an upgraded Air conditioning compressor, brand new power steering, new battery, and duel exhaust. This car is show ready or could even be used as a driver.
