Immaculate 1940 Pontiac Silver Streak Deluxe New to our Redwood City showroom is this truly immaculate 1940 Pontiac "Silver Streak" Deluxe 2 Door Sports Coupe with fresh Ludington Green exterior paint and a two-toned rich bedford cord wool interior. This incredible classic has recently emerged from almost 60 years in storage and underwent a complete restoration, so its original Flathead inline 6 engine and 3-speed manual transmission are absolutely flawless out on the open road. With only 47,217 lifetime miles on the drivetrain, this beautiful coupe is truly special and it borders on museum quality as well. Remained Tucked Away in Storage for 59 Years This 1940 Pontiac Deluxe Sports Coupe was originally purchased in San Francisco, enjoyed for 13 years and placed into storage in 1953. It remained there untouched until 2012 when it was completely restored back to factory specifications, and this was a very high end restoration with an all new interior, paint, glass, rubber, weather stripping, and chrome/steel work. It also has the original (restored) AM/FM radio, clock and gauges along with a 6V battery and Firestone wide whitewall tires, plus the original steering wheel, door handles, the Pontiac/Indian logo in the back glass and the original 1942 registration sticker. In terms of actual condition, this 1940 Pontiac Silver Streak brings you right back to the day it was created with a plush, comfortable interior, great ride quality and tons of curb appeal.
