Porsche 911 1972

General description : Superb Porsche 2.4 T Targa from 1972!
Rare version with external oil cap called "Oelklappe", produced only for 1 year, in very few copies in the Targa version.
The car was the subject of a profound restoration, which involved all the parts:
The bodywork, which was already very healthy (in fact there was no welded nor replaced any sheet metal), was completely stripped off, as over the years it had changed color, treated with high quality products, and repainted in its original color Aubergine, exclusively with paints and shades conforming to the way it left the factory. Work done by industry and brand specialists.
The engine, as well as the gearbox, and all the mechanics, have been completely disassembled, opened, and restored, with the replacement and rectification of all the parts necessary to give a new and long life to this splendid specimen. All the work was carried out in a Porsche specialist workshop, with the exclusive use of original Porsche Italy spare parts.
The interiors have been completely redone, according to the model's specifications, as per the car's Certificate of Origin.
All the rubber parts, gaskets, bearings, and everything that is subject to wear over the years have been replaced.
Every single screw has been dismantled, and where possible, restored with modern treatments, to guarantee maximum yield and duration.
The restoration lasted about 4 years, all documented by photos and invoices of purchased spare parts.
A wonderful example of a myth of the 70s, in a rare configuration.
A car with exceptional usability, comfortable and fun to drive,
A true collector's item, to be handed down to future generations, with a timeless line and unmistakable design.
Pure art and engineering!
