This replica, manufactured by Shell Valley combines the classic 302 cubic inch V8 small block Ford and 5-speed manual transmission. An Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold helps the engine suck in as much air as it can take, and the side pipe exhaust system thumps the burnt air/fuel mixture back out with a thunderous roar. The sleek lines of this American legend are coated in a smooth coat of Rossa Corsa red over a black interior with red diamond stitching.
Take a seat in this Cobra and you are sure to see why these have been such a popular car in the decades since its introduction, as well as the numerous replica companies that have spawned from its design. The shifter feels right at hope in the palm of your hand, the steering feels just weighted enough to give proper feedback without being a strain at low speeds, and the chassis happily darts through the corners and roars up the streets. This Cobra is a beautiful example of Carrol Shelby's idea of an ideal racecar from the '60's.
