A really brilliant iconic Audi coupe. New delivered on 23.04.1986 in Aachen and later the car went to Belgium where it was restored in 2015 in today's top condition. During the restoration, the car was painted in the original factory color Alpine White (L90E) along with the Ronal rims which gives the car a very nice look. The car features the popular 5-cylinder 2226CC engine, 5-speed manual transmission and the optional fully removable tilting sunroof. Revised cylinderhead with invoice available. An Audi Coupe is a rarity in this condition! Given the price increases of the original Quattro, the coupe should also be a very healthy investment.

Audi Automobil GmbH Zwickau grundades av August Horch och hans partners. I augusti 1928 var en majoritet av aktierna i Audiwerke AG förvärvas av Jørgen Rasmussen, ägaren av Dampf-Kraft-Wagen (DKW) 1932 Audi gick samman med Horch, DKW och Wanderer, för att bilda Auto Union. Auto Union använde de fyra sammanlänkade ringarna som sin logotyp, Audi emblem i dag, som representerar dessa fyra varumärken.

Efter kriget hade Daimler-Benz tagit 100% av aktierna i Auto Union företaget by1959. Genom mitten av sextiotalet hade de bestämt sig för att sälja till Volkswagen -a besluts Mercedes måste beklagligt nu. Enligt VW-kontroll de tog tvåtakts DKW F102, försett den med en modern Mercedes utformade fyrtaktsmotor et voilá en ny modern Audi hade uppstått. Resten är, som man säger, historia.
