The year is 1967, Ronald Reagan the movie actor and future President of the United States, is inaugurated as the new governor of California, The band “The Doors” released their debut album called “The Doors” soon to be #1 Hit “Light My Fire and new for 1967, the Buick Riviera replaces its venerable 425 “Nailhead engine” with an entirely new 430 CID (7.0L) V8 upping its horse power to 360 HP and 475 Foot lbs of torque, a noticeable improvement! This 1967 Riviera is in near original condition with its original shiny light blue exterior gleaming at you when you first approach it, you open the driver’s door and see that the original black vinyl Bucket seats are in very nice original condition. The front seats are separated by the aggressive center counsel with Floor shifting for the Super turbine 400 automatic transmission. Staring at the classic dashboard and gauges you see it only has 74,382 actual miles showing on the odometer, WOW! Put the key in the ignition and start it up, the car instantly fires up and the original 430 CID V8 purrs softly as it idles but give it some gas and it roars to life with enough thunder to know the Big block motor is a contender and full of Power! This car has won a few awards at the local car shows for its originality. This vehicle also includes a collection of repair and maintenance receipts as well as a diary for its last 2 owners.
