Allmän beskrivning :
This 1951 Roadmaster Convertible has received a wonderfully detailed restoration to original specifications! Winner of the AACA National First Prize in 1994. Shortly thereafter this Buick was acquired by collector John S. Hendricks (founder and chairman of Discovery Channel) and has remained in his collection for 20 years. A beautiful book of the Hendricks collection is present with the car. This Roadmaster Convertible 76C remains in excellent show condition! Beautiful ivory paintwork with a two-tone gray leather interior, black Haartz top and sparkling chrome and stainless. The engine and trunk compartment are also beautifully detailed. Correct wide white sidewall tires. The Roadmaster was the top-of-the-line model for Buick and is recognizable by the four Port Holes, a longer body and its signature "sweep spear" side moulding. Equipped with the big 320 "Fireball" straight eight, rated at 152 hp and Dynaflow automatic transmission. Hydro-Electric top, windows and seat in perfect working order. Even the original radio and clock work! These Boulevard Buick's are great cars for summer cruising; easy to drive, reliable and extremely comfortable. This is probably the most beautiful example in the world today!
