Easing into the 50s Buick was looking to cover more market segments and added the Skylark to the Roadmasters lineup. After that it moved under the Buick Special line but wouldn't become its own model until 1962. The Skylark nameplate would see 6 generations up until 1998. This sharp example is a '63, second year of the Skylark as its own model and the last year of its generation. The white paint against the chrome with the red automatic convertible soft top really commands your attention. Aesthetically this car is very appealing to the eye. As it should be with the extensive work she has received; more on that shortly. The red vinyl interior matches the roof and is in great condition. Per the owner, under the hood is a rebuilt 215ci V8 backed by a rebuilt 2-Speed Automatic. The radiator and carburetor were also rebuilt. The car runs and drives out very well! This Skylark received a lot of new parts and was completed in 2020. New paint, interior, bumpers, convertible top, windshield washer pump/motor/wipers, brakes/calipers, exhaust, tires, convertible hydraulic pump, engine hood insulation, alternator, engine seals, drive shaft, and convertible boot cover. The car's undercarriage was sealed for rust prevention. She only has 100 miles on her since the restorative work and rebuild was completed! Odometer shows 95k miles and is believed original. Title supports the odometer as true. Current owner has had her for over 4 years, acquired from a local private owner. Title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name now! This era of Skylark does not come around very often let alone in this nice of condition with its level of work.
