New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1955 Chevrolet 3100 1/2 Ton Stepside Shortbed 2 Door Pickup with amazing Chameleon Blue/Purple exterior paint, a brand new Oak bed and a very nice grey cloth interior.  You’ll find a 455 cid Olds V-8 engine under the hood with a 4bbl carburetor, a dual exhaust, power front disc brakes, tilt steering and a Turbo 400 automatic transmission with a Lokar shifter.  With Cragar SS wheels, BF Goodrich tires, Dakota digital gauges and several other upgrades, this is an awe-inspiring pickup that will be the envy of any collector.

This 1955 Chevrolet 3100 Stepside Shortbed Pickup originally sold in Oregon and the current owner took possession back in 2009.  He informs us that he was drawn to this particular example because of the laser-straight body and excellent originality- it simply needed a little TLC to be fully brought back to life.  As you can see from the photographs, this pickup is simply stunning with gorgeous body lines and some of the prettiest show quality paint you’ll find anywhere.  The chrome and trim work are all near-perfect as well and this desirable pickup will definitely turn heads.  Likewise, the engine bay is flawless with just the right level of chrome accent.
