Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this '69 Chevrolet C-10. This original big block C-10 has had new life breathed into it over the last decade. It comes from a private collection as you see it here today. The collector wanted to own one of each Chevrolet vehicle from 1969 that had a factory big block. This example has had the original 396 removed in favor of a 427 that has been bored to displace 435 cubic inches rated at 525 horsepower! MSD fuel injection was added to give this truck the ability to be daily driven, and a TH-400 3-speed automatic trans lets you enjoy the truck without fussing with gears.
The vehicle has been painted in a slightly modified Metallic Forest Green. The metal flakes are smaller, more dense, and has had a tinge of blue pearl added to really make this color pop in the sunlight. Step into the Black vinyl interior and find yourself quite cozy. If the interior looks familiar, that's because it was pulled from a 1969 Blazer to give a slight twist on this classic, without losing the original flavor.
With just under 1,000 miles on this full rebuild there is still a lot of driving left to be done on this hot-rod truck. Options include: Air-conditioning, AM/FM/CD, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, Tilt Steering Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires on Alloy Wheels, and a Posi Traction Rear Axle.
