This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro is a Chevy High Performance magazine car and definitely has the right aggressive look. And it's more than just skin deep,. With a performance-built ZZ4 350 under the hood, five-speed manual, a driver-oriented custom interior, and an upgraded suspension, this is the performance-oriented and well-documented classic Camaro you've always dreamed of owning.
You could get a yellow Camaro in '73 but it was never as wild as this. The Viper Yellow was applied with the kind of professional hand that lets you know this build was a labor of love. And the application of black is a master stroke as the shining black bumpers, window trim, and bezels coordinate so well with the wide striping on the hood and trunk that was clearcoated into the rest of the paintjob. Inside, the full-blacked out appearance means this Camaro wants to instantly get down to speedy business. This was customized with the driver in mind, and you see it in the upgrade to modern racing bucket seats that have superior bolstering. Plus, there's an upgraded center console in-between. The grippy three-spoke sports steering wheel has cool carbon fiber accents that match the dash. This includes the upgrade to AutoMeter Ultra-Lite carbon fiber gauges with easy to read large speedo and tach. And have you counted the gears on the stick shift yet?
One look under the hood, and you know why this Camaro earns its aggressive appearance. This is a ZZ4 crate motor. It was installed less than 4,200 miles ago as part of this quality build, so it looks clean and mean. It includes a hot cam, four-barrel carburetor, polished Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock fuel pump, and a set of power-coated headers. There's plenty more invested in the motor, but we don't have all the room to list it all, so call us for all the details. But just know it produces around 400 horsepower, and the thunder of the Pypes X-pipe dual exhaust lets everyone know it. Best of all, the upgrade to a TKO-600 5 five-speed manual transmission means you've got an extra gear to really take advantage of the extra power. And don't forget to check out the undercarriage. The oxide paint lets you know how thorough the restoration was, and that's where you'll also spot some terrific suspension upgrades.
