Allmän beskrivning : See this 1984 Chevrolet Camaro on display in our Tampa showroom.Gateway Classic Cars is proud to list this rare and historically obscure 1984 Olympic Edition Camaro. When was the last time you saw one of these? Have you even heard of one? The Sarajevo Winter Olympics package (RPO 1A3) is perhaps one of the rarest, if not THE rarest of 3rd gen Camaro packages thanks to attrition. The production run for RPO 1A3 was 3,722. But time has shown many were used as regular transportation and succumbed to the ravages common to daily driven cars. The Sarajevo Winter Olympics package was based on the Camaro Sport Coupe and featured white body paint with red, white and blue stripes, Olympic insignias and “Sarajevo ’84 decals. It was available with 4 cylinder, v6, and v8 engines. The interior was also trimmed in all blue with cloth seats. This car is a true survivor and presents and drives as a decently maintained higher mileage 84 Camaro. Considering the rarity of this car and the lack of awareness of the 1A3 RPO code, this is a perfect opportunity to grab a piece of history! This car is a perfect candidate for restoration, or it can be driven and shown as an affordable collector’s item. One thing is certain, you’ll be hard pressed to come across another as unmolested as this one - if you see another one at all.
