This well kept and nicely restored 1969 Camaro SS/RS was built in the Norwood, Ohio plant during the second week of January and specified with the highly desired Code 72, Hugger Orange exterior paint and trim Code 729, Ivory Houndstooth Interior. Lifting the functional air breathing hood will reveal the numbers matching L34 396/350 HP Turbo Jet power plant which resides in an engine bay that is clean and well detailed. Rarer still, it is equipped with air conditioning, hard to find with this engine combination. Inside, the bucket seats with separate headrests are in excellent condition. The full length console is fitted with a ‘horseshoe’ automatic shifter and a 4-pack accessory gauge package for battery, temperature, oil and fuel. The black/woodgrain panel dash is in above average condition along with the 140mph speedometer, 6,000rpm tach, clock and AM radio. This Camaro also has power steering, power brakes, rear-deck spoiler, front spoiler, and dual chrome mirrors. A set of 17inch aluminum Magnum wheels with modern radial tires finishes the look of this classic Camaro!
Without a doubt, the 1969 Camaro RS/SS is a muscle car in its purest and most attractive form, and this Camaro presents extremely well inside and out. Coupled with the 396 big block and options, make it a very collectible and sought-after muscle car.
