Allmän beskrivning : For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is this stunning Big Block 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport. This is a numbers matching big block 396 Chevelle Super Sport, with documentation, a full restoration and a healthy rebuild on the numbers matching engine. The documentation that comes with this Chevelle SS includes the original maintenance manual with the attached protect-o plate and build receipts. The engine was rebuilt using a Melling cam and lifters with a cam part number of 22204. The specs are 503-529. A Melling high volume oil pump was installed. Total seal rings were used on the pistons and a Cloyes double roller timing chain was utilized to keep the timing in check. Long tube headers and Flowmaster exhaust gets rid of the exhaust in quick order. The red paint was applied for a fresh look and the vinyl top was redone as well. The interior was restored to factory specs to maintain the nostalgic feel. The factory AC keeps you cool on those hot days and warm nights. This Chevelle SS truly looks fantastic and is comfortable for cruising. You can’t go wrong with this car. An exceptional example of a true Big Block 1966 Chevelle Super Sport. The features include AC, AM/FM radio, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires. This car is an extremely clean example having undergone a fully documented Frame-Off restoration. From the Carpet, to the seats, to the under-carriage and of course the like-new paint! If you dropped this car off at a Chevrolet dealer in 1966 no one would notice that the car is nearly 50 years old! The car sits on chrome rally wheels that stand out from every other set of Cragar equipped car out there! The Chassis has 98000 miles on it and the engine even less!
