As you will see in the highlights, the list of things done to this pro-touring machine is very long. The pictures capture the quality of the car from top to bottom. No corners cut to make this a consistent show winner!
The body has been expertly massaged including mini tubs, smoothed and reshaped firewall, filled and smoothed radiator support, shaved doors and trunk, filled cowl, smoothed hood lip, shaved and tucked bumpers and driving lights added to the front. That is just a small example of the work and man hours that went into a quality build like this hot rod Nova.
The heartbeat of this lion, is an LS1 5.7 V8 sending power through a 4L60E automatic transmission shifted by a Lokar shifter then onto a 12-bolt rear axle narrowed 1.5' per side with 3.55 Richmond gears and an Eaton posi unit. Exhaust exits via dual Magnaflow high-performance mufflers.
To handle the boost in power, new updated suspension was chosen from TCI for both the front and rear clips. Heavy duty anti-sway bars, and Ridetech coil over shocks front and rear round out the package. Steering is handled by a Flaming River power rack and pinion unit, while braking is left up to 12' drilled and slotted discs and polished calipers from Baer and Wilwood .
A completely custom leather interior includes custom front seats, trunk and one-piece headliner, custom rear seat, Lokar pedals, custom carpet, center console, Ididit tilt steering column, Shutt steering wheel, and Vintage Air air conditioning. The powerful stereo system uses top shelf components such as the Clarion Audio head unit, Kicker amps and Kicker speakers.
Hitting the pavement are Billet Specialties Qualifier wheels, 17x8 front and 17x9.5 rear wrapped in BFGoodrich G Force Sport tires sized 205/40R17 and 275/40R17.
