Compared to the 1991 Corvettes, the '92 offered mostly subtle, but a few big changes. New-for-1992 elements included the engine (the LT1), which got nearly a 50 horsepower boost vs. the previous years' 350 CID V8 engine, new performance tires, revised shock absorbers with FX3 selective ride control (newly recalibrated for '92), ASR (anti-slip regulation) traction control, four-wheel anti-lock disc braking, and a new exhaust system. This '92 'Vette is powered by its original drivetrain, consisting of a Tuned-Port-Injected 350 CID V8, which is backed by a smooth-shifting 4-speed automatic transmission. The still-potent LT1 is putting out 300 hp and 330 ft-lbs of torque: this beauty will get you from 0-60 in 5.1 seconds and has a top speed of 161 mph. It's riding on a set of 275/40ZR17 performance radial tires that have plenty of tread left on them. The interior is black and white with power seats that sport custom houndstooth inserts.
