Classic Weld Racing wheels, extra meaty rear tires, and large quad exhaust tips all drive home this performance feeling. While this is all part of the substance this Chevy brings, there's also an undeniable style. The main body is steel, and it's dipped in a quality maroon paint job that offers a modern clearcoat shine. And this helps to show off the streamlined look that made the pre-war Chevrolets such desirable coupes.

This 350 cubic-inch V8 is enhanced with a Holley double-pumper four-barrel carburetor, Weiand Team G intake, Davis United Street/Strip electronic ignition, and shorty headers feeding the dual exhaust. You'll also spot the right supporting components, like an upgraded vacuum system, steel braided radiator hoses, a serpentine belt system, and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan. While the quad exhaust tips have an intimidating look, when you really want a thunderous sound, this one also has exhaust cutouts. GM's stout TH400 three-speed transmission is ideal for the reverse manual valve body setup. It gives you full control of the V8 as it feeds a strong Ford 9-inch rear. Plus, a four-link rear suspension with Panhard bar and coilovers really keep those big rear tires planted during take-offs. Add in the upgraded front suspension, power steering, power brakes, and four-wheel discs, and you have a well-done street-ready total package.
