This Impala SS for sale has an iconic big block Chevy under the hood let’s just say giddy up giddy up giddy up 409. This engine was so famous or Infamous that one of the largest bands of the times, the beach boys, wrote an entire song to it. Even today in car circles someone will mention they heard that someone has a 409 to use in their next build and you can feel the jealousy in their voice. No other engine is as instantly recognizable not to mention as snappy as a small block with enough torque to yank tree stumps out of the ground. There was a reason the 409 was so revered in the 1960’s and is still sought after today. Well this 409 is backed up by another big name in 1960’s horsepower a Muncie 4 speed manual transmission giving you the ability to slam the torque to the rear tires with what I believe to be a 12 bolt Chevy rear axle housing a 4:11 gear set.
