This is a 4x4 done right. After all, a classic 1985 Chevrolet K-10 Silverado is already attractive at this price. But then when you see all the upgrades – from the tall stance to the A/C interior – you realize how much of an all-around deal this really is.
The short bed and tall 4x4 stance already makes this one aggressive. But then you start to see the full investment into making this one truly memorable. It starts with a bright billet grille and shining chrome bumper. But then it takes a turn for the dark side as a newer application of dark blue that goes nicely with the upgraded 20-inch black wheels. The full Silverado bright work trim package can also come with the sale, but we already like the way this one looks with its overall darker attitude. Plus, you get all the right practical features, like the rear step bumper with tow ball, wide trailer mirrors, front two hooks, and a spray-in bedliner to keep this Chevy working hard.
Inside the black and blue theme continues. This has all the right features to keep you comfy, including power windows, power locks, and the factory AM/FM stereo. We especially love these Silverados for the way all the gauges wrap around you, almost like a sports car. Plus, the air conditioning has even been upgraded to R134a. Of course, your favorite fresh air will really come from opening the vent windows and sliding the rear glass – the best way to get old-school pickup breezes.
Under the hood is Chevy's trusty 305 cubic-inch V8. This is the original motor according to the consignor, and considering it has averaged about 2,700 miles annually, this certainly hasn't been used as a daily workhorse all its life. Topped with a four-barrel carburetor, the V8 makes plenty of power and torque. It goes well with the two-speed 4x4 transfer case, tall stance, and Deep Digger tires to get you deep into nature. Plus, the dual fuel tanks let you go even further! But for those times when you just want to run thought town, features like power steering, front disc brakes, and a four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive make this an easy anytime machine.
