The Chevy Nova was first known as the Chevy II and debuted all the way back in 1961 for the '62 model year. This was Chevy's answer to Ford's Falcon since it was dominating the Corvair in 1960. The Nova nameplate finally came into use for the second generation in 1966. While the Nova would see 5 total generations spanning up until 1988 many consider the 3rd generation as the greatest and that is what is up for your consideration. This model is a '71, mid-3rd gen and she looks the part for street performance. The Cortez Silver paint looks good and shows off those awesome muscle car lines. Inside the black vinyl seats make for a great contrast with the silver exterior and is in good order. Per the owner, under the hood is ZZ4 Aluminum head 350ci V8 crate motor with power running down and at your fingertips through a 4-Speed Manual transmission. She is sporting a 12-bolt Posi rear end with 3.08 gear ratio. Owner claims Car runs and drives out very well and sounds great! Current owner has had it for over 6 years, acquired from a private owner. Car was painted in 2010 and received the following in 2021. New leaf springs, new air shocks, new Lakewood traction bars, new Edelbrock chrome air gap intake, new Holley 750cfm dual pumper carb, Competition Engineering frame connector, and Coker Classic Redline Tires.
