This 1957 Chevrolet 210 2-Door Wagon has been given the full custom treatment to take the iconic lines you love and give them the unique sedan delivery appearance. This car represents a very cool custom build. It's extremely hard to find an original 1957 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery, but that's not this car's whole story. Even to build a tribute like this is quite rare. The trim tag tells us this was born a 210 two-door wagon. Chevrolet built over two and half times more Bel Air convertibles in '57, and we already know how rare that icon is! They took the time to emphasize the custom work by giving this the right two-tone color combo. The Root Beer Metallic is always a great choice for a stylish look, and the Fawn Metallic upper section harmonies with the brown while also drawing added attention for the unique slab sides. We all know the '57 Chevy because of the brightwork, and so this one made sure that it's looking terrific. The chrome does a great job of contrasting the deeper brown and tan tones while also matching the luster. So that iconic front end continues to be a 10,000-watt smile. And the Bel Air's hallmark fan-style rear on the tailfin means this one already has all the pieces you really want.
The interior is a tastefully done full black setup. The upholstery, carpet, doors, and headliner all have a deep color and a feeling of quality. We especially like that how the seats have a comfy cloth insert for where you sit. There are nice driver-oriented upgrades, like the sports steering wheel, auxiliary gauge trio, and Lokar floor shifter. The rear seats are still in place for added usability. Behind them is plenty of storage for all your gear. And since this one keeps the wagon's two-piece hatch, it's also a great classic for tailgating.
Under the hood is proper small block power. The Tri-Five launched this legendary V8 era at Chevy, and this one take it to a new level. It's a 350 cubic-inch unit that has been upgraded with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, performance intake, Mallory distributor, and shorty headers that feed a set of rather straight pipes on the dual exhaust. The three-speed automatic transmission is a nice upgrade that shifts with a hint of performance confidence. Plus, you have a four-wheel disc brake upgrade and the grip of modern sport tires for added poise on the road.
