This 1989 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is a full custom setup with bright paint, beefy upgrades, fuel-injected V8 power, custom bed, and a comfy A/C interior. And just in case you really need to have them hear you coming, the horn even plays Dixie like the Dukes of Hazzard.
This truck has been well-coordinated to stand out and above the rest. The shiny red paint might be the first thing to grab your attention, but then you really start to notice the black accents. The grille, tinted windows, side wind deflectors, badging, and rear spoiler give this a nice hint of a dark side to go with the big off-road tires. Nice upholstery, a taut headliner, a clean dash, and newer carpeting make this a nice place to spend some time. It also feels upper-class because of all the features you get. This is a bucket seat truck with a cup holder center console in the middle. There's cold-blowing air conditioning, cruise control, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with a USB input and Bluetooth. The upgraded wood-rim steering wheel is on a tilt column, and there's a full auxiliary gauge trio to keep a good eye on what's going on under the hood.
The engine has the look of an old-school Chevy with the bright orange block, valve covers, and air intake. So you'll love showing this off. But what we really like is that it's really a modern fuel-injected 350 cubic-inch V8. It was believed to be rebuilt more recently. They even added worthwhile upgrades like an aluminum radiator and headers feeding the dual exhaust. The result is a strong running package. And since that makes it nice to enjoy everywhere, you also have great driving features like the power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, modern ABS, and a four-speed automatic transmission w/highway-friendly overdrive.
