After all, the vintage truck market is heating up with the mainstream Chevys and Fords, but when was the last time you saw a 1953 Dodge B-series pickup? With a cool patina look, lowered suspension, and first-year Hemi power, you'll start to see they made all the right investments while leaving all the right vintage details.
This classic Job-Rated Dodge has an awesome total appearance. The red patina paint has that perfect mix of rat rod style, and at the same time, it has the worn-in look that's red-hot right now. So this one instantly fits in with both the vintage and new custom scenes. The 18-inch US Mags wheels offer some nice contrasting polish, and the lowered stance gives this some street machine attitude. The same goes for the deleted bumpers. But this one never loses that classic workman attitude. And you see that everywhere from the windshield sun visor, to the vintage containers in the bed.
Inside is a clean and basic interior that has upgrades for driving. The recovered bench seat and fresh full carpeting give this a comfortable attitude. That's why this one is ready to show off with a big red block, tidy wiring, and bright valve covers with callouts stamped into them. And oh yeah, it also has a six-pack of single barrel carbs on top to really give it that proper Hemi attitude (the middle two are hooked up while the other four are currently for show)! The motor fires up readily and makes a terrific tune out of the dual exhaust. The three-speed manual transmission gives you good control over this powerhouse. Plus, the upgraded front suspension, modern sport tires, and front disc brakes means this classic Dodge is also quite a fun driver.
