Over 1100+ labor hours of sheetmetal, fabrication, paint, body, and customization of this Killer Mopar! Completed by the professional craftsmen at Killer Hot Rods this car was constructed out of only the best components available. It is very evident the quality of the build when checking it out in person. These guys are known for good work and this car is a beautiful example of what they can do. This awesome E-Body’s restoration and customization began when its body was carefully stripped, labeled and documented before Soda Blasting and fresh epoxy primer coating. Once the body was prepped, the Custom sheetmetal work began. This included tubbed rear wheel wells, braced & welded subframe structure, hand made inner fenders & firewall, custom transmission tunnel, along with new floors and quarters. Panel gaps were set and aligned with metal and not filler. Hundreds and hundreds of labor hours were spent on making this mopar body laser straight. Take one look down the body of this old-school Mopar and you’ll see tough, ultra smooth panels that have been straightened and finessed far past anything that rolled out of the factory. Pull the car into the sunlight and its SubLime Green finish accurately reproduces Chrysler’s vision, all the while offering a level of protection that can only be achieved with today’s premium paint technology. Get up close with its finish and all that staring adds up to one super slick, all-American Dodge muscle car which wraps high tech performance in killer good looks! This challenger's bright green & black glossy finish makes a bold statement from virtually every angle. At the front of the car, a tough looking blacked out body-width grille sits with a blackened Custom Challenger emblem, brand new prestine parking lamps and a custom modified, painted, and smoothed front bumper. At the rear of the car, an aggressive set of 12" wide Circle Racing wheels wrapped in 345mm Mickey Thompson Street Radials sit begging to tear up the pavement. Raise the Custom Painted R/T hood and you’ll find the heart of this animal. A brand new 6.4 liter Dodge Challenger SRT-8 crate engine Cranking out 525HP and 530 Ft/lbs TQ that takes this Dodge from ‘awesome’ to ‘MUST HAVE’ almost as fast as it takes its driver from ‘confident’ to ‘scared stiff’. At the top of that 392 Hemi, a custom set of Stainless Engine covers for shows or the clean look of the black factory style covers for the everyday driver. This car was built purely for the muscle car enthusiast. Every custom part was added for high performance driving and the end result is stunning! Take one look under this "not so stock" E-Body and you’ll see that it definitely has the structure to back up its intimidating good looks. The 392 Hemi Powerplant is hooked to a smooth-shifting Tremec T56 Magnum 6-Speed Transmission, a custom driveshaft and a Moser 9" rear end that’s equipped with 3.50 gears and stout 31 Splined axles all reinforced by a Schwartz Performance Chassis. Not surprisingly, this classic mopar has received the ultimate upgrade with tubular suspension and Ridetech Adjustable Coilovers on all four corners. Naturally, this pavement-gripping suspension is augmented by power rack and pinion steering and a Wilwood 12.9" big brake system with 6 Piston Front Calipers and 4 Piston Rears. An intimidating engine note comes courtesy of a 2-1/2" ceramic coated Flowmaster exhaust system that sends that true American hot rod sound through the Flowmaster Delta 50 Mufflers. Open the doors and sit down inside a cockpit where the timeless good looks of American muscle were crafted with tasteful upgrades and modern conveniences. The Procar supplied seats custom covered and stitched with lime green are comfortable, sporty, and feel much more upscale than the traditional Mopar interior. At the bottom of those seats, fresh black carpet with custom made floor mats alongside the handcrafted center console and topped off with a custom handmade headliner and wrapped upper dash. Custom Autosound stereo for that retro feel with all the modern amenities and a TKO Hurst pistol grip shifter. At the sides of that carpet, leather-wrapped door panels all finished with custom green stitching, traditional chrome hardware and great sounding Pioneer speakers in front and rear. At the edges of those panels, a modified dash hangs a full assortment of American Muscle Series Autometer gauges above controls for an Old Air climate system and small billet accessory knobs. In front of the driver, a Custom Billet Specialties Wheel spins around a modern Ididit steering column. And behind the cockpit is a clean and custom upholstered trunk. With the purchase Killer Hot Rods will include a full set of build pictures documenting the resurrection of this custom muscle car from day 1 until it was complete.
