It is a one owner lifetime California classic that was purchased new right here in the Bay Area. Only 1,100 Miles on Complete Nut & Bolt Restoration The current owner of this 1958 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner Convertible purchased it new in Sacramento, California fifty-seven years ago and he tells us that he has a lifetime of memories in this gorgeous vehicle. He had it completely restored to incredibly high standards in May of 2013, and it appears that it has remained indoors except for the 1,100 miles it’s been driven since that time. Mechanically, this one runs flawlessly as well without a single squeak to be heard at highway speeds. It is very hard to tell that this is not a brand new, 57 year old Ford. From what we can tell by the documentation, it underwent a multi-year nut and bolt restoration to return this one 100% back to factory specifications and the vast majority of the parts are the actual refurbished originals instead of OEM replacements.
