Allmän beskrivning : For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a 1989 Ford Mustang GT convertible. Referred to as the "Fox Body", 1979 rolled out an all new platform for the Mustang. Mustang fans were not sad to see the demise of the previous "Mustang II" generation. The Fox Body offered a small, lightweight platform which was perfect to house the famous 5.0 V8. From 1979 through the early 1990s, there were subtle changes to the appearance, as well as drive train improvements. This 1989 features the most modern front and rear clips which most would argue make for the most attractive of the Fox Bodies. This 89’ 5.0 convertible is finished in a rarely seen and highly sought after triple white color combination. The white exterior and interior feature red accents throughout. The exterior paint is mostly original with a few areas that have been touched up, it is not perfect but presents well. The interior is also original, but has aged very well, and shows little signs of wear and tear. The awesome 5.0 V8 engine fires right up and sounds fantastic. The 4-speed AOD automatic transmission shifts the power beautifully to the 8.8” rear end, and will not disappoint. The odometer reads 92,863, which represents the actual mileage on the car.
