Ford Thunderbird 312 V8 1957

Allmän beskrivning : RARE DUSK ROSE FACTORY COLORS, D-CODE 312 V8, AUTO, PS, COLD R134 AC, BOTH TOPS

With its rare and well-coordinated color package, powerful 312 V8, A/C interior, and nicely restored overall presentation, this 1957 Ford Thunderbird delivers on everything you thought this iconic classic could be. And best of all, it's available right now.
The professional repaint of the factory-correct code-X Dusk Rose is quite nice. Then again, you know someone was going to take the time and investment to get this car right. After all, this color was only available in '57, and it has the kind of sophisticated glow that adds distinction through elegance. So, it's exactly the kind of beautiful pastel we all wish out first-gen T-bird was. The same goes for all the brightwork. The '57s still love chrome, but they do it in a different way. They trade in some of the ornamentation for smoother lines. This is seen on the front where the chrome bumper incorporates the bullet-nose design into a swoopy one-piece unit. It does the same in the rear where the curvaceous single piece hugs the body lines, while also integrating the dual exhaust within its mirror-like chrome. And a car that's restored to this level is about more than just all the intricate brightwork that's correct. You love seeing the jet-inspired taillights, fender skirts, and how the both the folding roof and the iconic porthole hardtop match the whitewall tires and factory wheel covers to give this a subtle two-tone effect when a roof is in place.
The pastel pink with white accents is a theme that continues on the custom interior. And there was a solid investment here during restoration, so you'll happily show off the full package. It has all the best original T-bird elements, like the stylized steering wheel, factory tach, and the engine-turned panel that flows across both doors and the dash. Plus, they upgraded this one to be a great modern cruiser. That's why you have everything from an AM/FM/cassette stereo with digital tuner, to air conditioning blowing cold with modern R134a (always desirable for summertime cruising.)
The larger D-code 312 cubic-inch V8 was a nice option in '57, and it only gets better when you see how well it's presented. It has been cared for just like the rest of this immaculate T-Bird with a color-matched engine bay, gloss black components, and a fresh red block. Of course, what really gets this motor noticed is the factory dress-up kit with finned valve covers and a chrome air cleaner. It has an absolutely sporty look and the Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor even helps deliver some extra performance. So, as much as this is a show-stopping T-Bird, it was also meant for cruising. That's why there are also great features like the power steering, two-speed Ford-O-Matic auto transmission, and highway-friendly rear gears.
This is the Thunderbird with the right color combo, upgrades, and attention-worthy presentation. So if you want to be cruising in high style tomorrow, you need to call us today!
