Here we have a 1957 Ford Thunderbird for sale. This car has a gorgeous frame off restoration and has been redone in the factory color combination. The body is in excellent condition with all the bodylines lining up beautifully and all the gaps being even and symmetrical. It's covered in the Gunmetal Gray which is the factory color and was only offered as a later year option. The paint has been buffed and polished to gorgeous shine. You'll notice we also have the Porthole Hard Top and that it comes with the Black soft top as well. Both bumpers are like new, and the rest of the chrome and stainless has a brilliant shine. It also has Power Windows which are functionally, and all the glass is in excellent condition. To finish off the exterior look it's sitting on a set of factory style 14” Wire Wheels with Coker Classic Wide White Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '57. On the inside it's also done in the factory color which is Red, and it makes for a stunning two-tone color combination that's sure to impress. As you look on the inside you can see that the door panels, seat covers, and carpet is also in excellent condition. The interior restoration on this Thunderbird has been meticulously done and you can see that all the stainless has a brilliant finish and exceptional fit. All the gauges are in excellent condition as well, and in the trunk everything has a beautiful detail as well. It has the correct mat along with spare and jack. You'll also notice it has the red soft top boot and set of Thunderbird Floor Mats.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood it features '57 model 312 engine which is the factory option. It's setup with the correct ECZ B Four Barrel Intake and has a Holley Carb. The 312 engine is mated to the Medium Case Cruise O Matic Trans that goes outback to this 9” Rear with around a 3.00 gear. For exhaust it has manifolds with dual pipes, turbo style mufflers, resonators, and the factory style tips that go out the bumper. The engine bay is dressed to take you back to when the car was new on the show room floor. It has the Thunderbird Finned Valve covers with the stock style air cleaner. It also comes with factory Power Steering and Disc Brakes on the front. When you look under it there's not deny the phenomenal job they did with the frame off restoration as the floors have an amazing detail along with the frame, and you'll also notice a new gas tank has been installed.
