In 1955, Ford decided it was their turn and gave full reigns to their team to design a two-seater that was for the everyday person. Though the first installment wasn't as fast as those from Chevy, they eventually solidified the Thunderbird as a classy two-seater with some power. 1957 would end up being the last version of the Thunderbird that was known for its sporty demeanor and allowing only two people in the cabin, as they would later redesign the car moving forward . Other standout features included a power seat, a radio that was controlled by speed, a new dash and console area, and fins that made the car show off a bit more than its predecessors.
