Mazda RX-7 1.3 Liter 1989

Allmän beskrivning : AMAZING <38K MI, WANKEL ROTARY, AUTO, A/C, 4 WHL DISC, PWR TOP/WIN, VERY NICE!!

The 1989 Mazda RX-7 has matured into an intriguing and attractive grand touring machine, and the convertible version is the ultimate expression of the open road. That's why we're very excited to see an ultra-low mileage car that's well preserved in its original fiery red. The exceptional price is just the cherry on top.
Red convertibles are always a good investment, and this one is still wearing most of its original Blaze Red paint. The level of gloss and shine you see today is a testament to both the quality work of Mazda and how well this RX-7 has been respected from day one. But what we really love about these second-generation cars is that Mazda offered a European exotic level of design, while still retaining the Japanese build quality. So, the headlights fit flush against the body; the black folding roof remains taut; and the 15-inch factory BBS wheels appear to have never done a parking lot battle. The result is a car that looks far younger than its age would suggest.
Black leather always looks terrific against a bright red exterior. We are particularly excited to see a car in our inventory like this because a car with this low mileage (averaging less than 1,350 miles annually) means there is little time to even crease the seats. So, the premium bucket seats are still deep, dark, and smooth. Plus, the carpeting, door panels, and dash are also just as nice. You'll slip behind the sporty three-spoke steering wheel and gaze at the red-faced gauges - and yes, the tach is prominently the center just like a Porsche. But more than just a pure sports machine, the RX-7 was Mazda's flagship car, and so there are plenty of luxury features. It includes power locks, cruise control, and the factory AM/FM/CD/cassette stereo. This was specially engineered to be a quite thoughtful convertible. The power windows and power top mean you don't have to leave the driver's seat to go from enclosed luxury, to a wind-in-your-hair experience. Plus, the air conditioning is blowing cold to help make sure you can keep the top down into the summer season. A truly unique touch piece are the stereo speakers in the headrests. This allows you to hear your favorite tunes no matter how fast you go with the top down.
What makes the RX-7 a unique sports car is the revolutionary two-rotor Wankel engine. No pistons, no crankshaft, no valves - just a pair of triangular rotors inside a beer-keg-sized housing. The design is compact, efficient, and could provide the same power as its six and eight-cylinder competitors. But its true hallmark is that it can happily spin to 7,000 RPM (and likely beyond) with incredible smoothness. We believe this is the original motor, and such low mileage also means an amazing engine presentation. All the plated parts are still shiny, the rubber components are supple, and even the original decals are seen everywhere. But just because this is so well preserved, it would be a shame not to take it out on the road. After all, the four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive, fully independent suspension, low-mounted motor (i.e. low center of gravity), and four-wheel disc brake package combine to offer the ideal mixture of performance and comfort.
Complete with owner's manual, original warranty info, and maintenance records, this is a unique grand touring machine that also has survivor status. It's amazing you can get a droptop classic like this for such a value price. But that only happens if you hurry as these cars are gaining collector popularity quickly! Call now!!
