When Plymouth introduced the De Luxe and Special De luxe series to the market in 1946, they were a huge hit and often came with long waiting lists for those who wanted a brand new one. Buying one from someone else, often came with a premium charge in order to skip the waiting list. The Convertibles only came in the high end Special De Luxe trim level. This particular example puts a extreme emphasis on the word Special in Special De Luxe. Offered in a stunning Viper Red paint accented by the tan top and glisten chrome, this car is a show stopper! When the car was being restored, the owner spared no expense and even had every panel on the car acid dipped. Besides the paint and LED head lights, you'd never know just how custom this classic is.
