Plymouth Sport Fury 1959

Allmän beskrivning :   1959 Plymouth Fury   One of the coolest things about being involved in classic cars is the huge variety of vehicles that were produced.  You can frequent car shows every weekend and still never see them all.  One of these more unique unknown classics has to be the Plymouth Fury.  With a name like that you can imagine it was built for speed and the rear fins do a great job of projecting that streamline look.  This 1959 Plymouth has a great look and runs very well.  People love to check these cars out especially if they are more familiar with the common 57 Chevy or Cadillac body styles.  The car has been very well maintained and has undergone a frame on restoration in the past.  It has been owned by the current owner for the past 14 years where it has been mostly stored in a heated/cooled enclosed garage.  The car was driven regularly in the summer so maintaining it and keeping it running well was always a priority.  There are those out there who drive and drive and drive ignoring any problems until the car breaks down but that is certainly not the case here.  Anything needing repaired was completely redone the correct way.  You won't find any fancy patch jobs on this classic.  The 2 door hardtop body is solid and coated in a Baby Blue and White combination.  Underneath everything is finished off as well with the original factory undercoating still in place.  All of the original style chrome, trim, and stainless is there and shining well.  These cars were packed with trim all over so having these pieces in place is a great feature.  Peaking out from under the fender skirts in the rear are the original style wheels/hubcaps that are then wrapped with nice wide white wall tires.  Powering up the car is a 318 cubic inch motor that runs well.  It utilizes a 4 barrel carburetor that is topped with a Red air cleaner to match the Red valve covers.  Dual exhaust is in place and delivers a nice sound routed out of the rear.  A Torque Flite automatic transmission backs the motor and shifts well.  The rear end of the car fits nicely underneath and is fitted with a limited slip differential.  Many components on the car were just replaced with a new gas tank, new wheel cylinders, new wheel seals and a new radiator.    The interior of the car has an all original look.  The dashes that were designed for these type of classics were incredibly unique and this one has everything in place.  All of the original style trim and chrome is there and looking good.  The seats are done in a two tone style with both vinyl and cloth.  The original factory dash pad is there and should show you how well the car was maintained.  It's over 50 years old! This is a very cool classic that always gets attention.  Unique classics like this could easily be the rare Barrett Jackson highlights of the future.  As time goes on there are less of these cars out there so grab it while you can Make this one yours for $34,900.00!   NOW REDUCED DOWN TO $29,000.00!
