Truly Breathtaking Custom 1962 Pontiac Grand Prix Hardtop
This 1962 Pontiac Grand Prix 2 Door Hardtop is a truly special vehicle; it is an exact clone of the one that custom cars legend Richard Zocchi purchased in 1962 from Gene Winfield. Built with a powerful 389 cid V-8 engine, three factory two bbl. carburetors and an automatic transmission, this amazing performance custom it a true work of art. Zocchi loved this custom ride so much over the years that he recently decided to recreate it in exact detail except for the 2' chopped top.
While it looks absolutely fantastic in the photographs, a picture can truly do no justice for a classic vehicle this spectacular. You really have to see it in person to truly appreciate it.
A One of One Richard Zocchi Custom
While the original motor had just over 97,000 miles on it, this entire vehicle was recently restored from top to bottom. Zocchi opted to keep the factory 389 engine and the automatic transmission in place but both of them were completely rebuilt as well. In fact, just about every component under the hood has been rebuilt or replaced during this restoration. Not everything is stock, however, and Grand Prix fanatics will immediately notice subtle changes like the custom grill, tail lights, and the seating. What will really grab your attention, however, is the custom orange and white paint with the gold pearl overlay; it may just be one of the most beautiful coats we've ever seen on any vehicle.
One of the Most Gorgeous Classics You'll Ever See
For all practical purposes, this 1962 Pontiac Grand Prix is a brand new automobile. It sounds, looks, and handles fantastic and it is one of the prettiest vehicles that you'll ever see on a showroom floor. Even those who are not into light modifications catch themselves giving this beauty a 2nd and a 3rd look, so we definitely do not expect this vehicle to remain inside our showroom for long.
