Super Rare 1971 Pontiac GTO Convertible
New to our Fairfield showroom is this rare and beautiful 1971 Pontiac GTO  Convertible with Sandlewood exterior paint and a black vinyl interior with bucket seats. This one comes from the factory with a 400 cid V-8 engine, factory A/C, cruise control, power steering/doors/windows/ front disc brakes, the factory stereo, remote side view mirror, a power top and an automatic transmission. You’ll also find the factory Honeycomb wheels in place with Firestone wide oval tires, along with a 2nd set of wheels/tires that are also included in this sale.
Fully Optioned From the Factory
This rare 1971 Pontiac GTO Convertible is fresh off a complete rotisserie restoration with all the factory correct under hood markings, accessory stickers, OEM belts and hoses. It is one of the nicest examples that we have ever witnessed in person and it also comes with PHS documentation as well. This desirable classic borders on being in #1 condition and only the slightest of details keep it from falling into museum quality. As it stands, it would be tough to beat for Best in Show honors at almost any local show/competition.
Additionally, this 1971 Pontiac GTO Convertible has an outstanding ride quality and it performs similar to a brand new classic vehicle. It is a truly outstanding car and it’s very limited factory equipment package makes it all the more desirable. Only 678 of these examples were built and how many  still exist nationwide at this time is unknown.
Beautifully Restored with PHS Documentation
Overall, the rarity and collectability of this 1971 Pontiac GTO Convertible simply cannot be overstated; it is one of the most desirable examples we’ve come across in years.
