Allmän beskrivning : For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a Pro Touring 1968 Pontiac GTO. This GTO was built with drivability and fun in mind from the get go. The build started in June of 2009 and was completed in March of 2010. The burgundy exterior paint is a color from a 2009 Cadillac and features a slight metallic flake. The black leather interior is mostly custom, and features seats from a 2005 GTO that were slightly modified to fit and look right inside this 68 GTO. Other custom touches in the interior include the console and the stainless-steel dash insert. Powering this Pro Touring GTO is a 428 CID V8 engine with a 4bbl Edelbrock carburetor and intake, chrome valve covers, and a mild performance cam. The 2.5 Ram Air exhaust flows to Spintek mufflers and X-pipe creating a killer sound. All this combines for an impressive 392 horsepower at the rear wheels. A Tremec 5-speed manual transmission transfers those ponies to the Posi-Trac 10-bolt rear end with 3.55 gears and provides a super fun driving experience. Opening and closing the big hood is made easy via the Billit aluminum hood hinges, that also look pretty darn cool. The ride height and overall stance is achieved via 2 drop spindles in the front and 17 Mickey Thompson aluminum/alloy wheels that are wrapped in brand new Toyo radial tires. The odometer reads 13,115, the actual mileage is unknown, and the build is believed to have between 6,000 and 8,000 miles on it.
