Classic car TV show scene stepped up onto a new level when Channel 4 introduced For the Love of Cars series in 2014. Seriously, the show hosted by actor/car fanatic Philip Glenister and restorer/designer Ant Anstead beats anything you've seen on the tube before -hands down.
These guys don´t monkey around, if you know what I mean, but are on a mission to scour the barns and lock ups of Britain for those beaten down but quintessentially British classics in need of some serious TLC.
The show consists of 6 episodes, where Philip and Ant hunt down and restore six British motoring icons, Escort Mexico, Land Rover S1, Mini Cooper just to name a few, and the final 7th episode where the cars go under the hammer at Coy's in London.
Call us biased, because that's probably what we are, but this is the show to see. We are curious to see if there are German & American spin-offs in the pipeline.
