AC Cobra 427 406 CI Chevy Stroker 1966

General description : For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is this truly unique 1966 AC Shelby Cobra replica. Most of these replicas are roadsters or Daytona coupes, but this is something else completely. This coupe has only 1,600 miles on the odometer! Rarely do you see a Shelby Cobra such as this and it is believed to be one of less than 200. This Cobra was built with no expense spared. Everything from the steering components to the suspension is top notch. Under the hood of this sleek sports car is a 406 cid Stroker with Edelbrock aluminum heads. There is a March billet serpentine pulley system, Edelbrock carburetor with polished aluminum intake manifold, and an oversized aluminum radiator with trans cooling system. The exhaust runs through Jet coated headers and chrome side exhaust. There is also an MSD ignition system. One of the best parts about this car is that it has a Vintage Air A/C and Heater. The engine is mated to a TCI built 4 speed overdrive automatic transmission with a TCI torque converter and a B&M Mega Shifter. There is a Currie 9-inch rear end. This car rides on a race-toned suspension with coil overs. It has rack and pinion front end, posi-traction and 4-wheel disc brakes. The Cobra rides on custom chrome mag wheels with Nitto racing tires. Can’t forget about the IDIDIT tilt steering column. The cockpit like interior is comfortable yet reminds you that you’re in a performance car. So many little details on this car make it so special. From the shaved door handles with remote door poppers to the custom embroidered Cobra floor mats. About AC Cobra 427
AC Cobra 427 MK III

The fact that the AC Cobra 427 is the world's most replicated sports car can have both positive and negative effects on the value of the originals. On one hand, the popularity of the car and the proliferation of replicas can help to raise awareness of the original models and increase demand among collectors. On the other hand, the presence of so many replicas can also create confusion and uncertainty among buyers, potentially driving down prices or making it more difficult to find a genuine example.

To ensure that they are buying a genuine Cobra rather than a replica, potential buyers should do their due diligence and thoroughly research the car's history and provenance. This may involve consulting with experts or third-party organizations that specialize in authenticating classic cars, or contacting previous owners or collectors who have knowledge of the car's history.

Some key factors to look for when verifying the authenticity of a Cobra include matching chassis and engine numbers, original documentation or paperwork, and evidence of the car's racing or competition history. It may also be helpful to examine the car's physical characteristics, such as the placement of certain components or details in the interior or engine bay, as these can sometimes be used to differentiate between original and replica models.

Ultimately, the most important thing for a potential buyer to do is to educate themselves about the specific model and to be cautious and thorough in their research before making a purchase. This can help to ensure that they are buying a genuine and valuable classic car, rather than a replica or fraudulent model
