Der GTA von Alfa Romeo hat eine unvergleichliche Renngeschichte geschrieben. Auf diesen Wagen fuhr die Elite der europäischen Tourenwagen-Spezialisten: Hubert Hahne, Dieter Glemser, Sir John Witmore, Jacky Ickx, Rolf Stommelen, Andrea de Adamich u. a. lehrten der Konkurrenz das Fürchten.Dieser Alfa Romeo 1300 GTA zählt sicher zu den ganz außergewöhnlichen Exemplaren. Seine Historie ist lückenlos belegt, wie es wohl nur ganz selten der Fall ist. Der originale italienische Kfz – Brief liegt vor. Seine italienische erfolgreiche Renngeschichte ist durch die belegten Rennergebnisse und die Strecken- Fotos dokumentiert. Ebenso ist durch den vorliegenden originalen ONS – Pass die deutsche Renngeschichte belegt. Das Alfa Romeo “ Classiche Certificato di Origine “ ist vorhanden.Sein letzter Fahrer war übrigens Jürgen Zerha, der ehemalige Redakteur der Zeitschrift “ Motor Klassik“, der damit beim OGP am Nürburgring 1985 eine 2. Platz hinter dem bekannten Helmut Hähne (Papa Hähne) im 16 Ventil GTA mit 180 PS belegte und der in der Motor Klassik Ausgabe November 1985 einen ausführlichen, begeisterten Bericht über dieses Fahrzeug verfasste.Das Fahrzeug gehörte damals Dano Petralia, dem ehemaligem Pressesprecher von Alfa Romeo und gleichzeitigem Rennmechaniker der Scuderia Neusser, der für seine Arbeit dieses Fahrzeug gemeinsam mit seinem Freund Michele Nestico erhielt. Später hat er seinen Freund Michele ausgezahlt und hat dieses automobile Juwel für 28 lange Jahre eingelagert, bevor wir es im Jahr 2015 vom “ Dano “ kaufen konnten. Wir haben es mit der Hilfe vom ihm, Dano Petralia, der ein ausgewiesener GTA – Experte ist, wieder zum Leben erweckt. Dazu haben wir den Motor und das Differential und Vergaser überholt, alle Verschleißteile (Bremsen , Fahrwerk, Reifen, Flüssigkeiten) erneuert und die originalen „Campagniolo Felgen“ überarbeitet.
