It comes with the British Heritage Certificate. Let’s continue with the cosmetic condition. This little British sports car is in super nice condition. The bright red paint is in great shape and looks beautiful with the nice and shinny chrome. The body of this Healey lines up as it should. The interior looks like brand new. 4 years ago this Austin received a new leather interior. It still smells fresh. No cracks anywhere and the carpet looks like it was just put in. If you walk around this classic British car you will be amazed at how nice it is. Of course the best part of any classic car is when you jump in and take it out for a spin. This Austin Healey drives as good as it looks. The inline 6 cylinder engine feels strong and it is just fun to drive it. Shifted by a 4-speed manual transmission with overdrive, there isn’t anything you will miss driving this roadster to the next car show. About Austin-Healey
Austin-Healey was a British sports car make created as a joint-venture between the Austin division of the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and the Donald Healey Motor Company. First Healey model, Healey 100, was based on Austin A90 Atlantic mechanicals and developed by Donald Healey to be build in-house. They finished a single Healey Hundred for the 1952 London Motor Show. Leonard Lord, managing director of Austin was so impressed by the design that a deal was duly struck with Healey and the car was renamed the Austin-Healey 100 overnight. Austin Healey was born. 100 derived into 100-six, and different 3000 versions before they quit the production in 1968 as the basic design had finally become obsolete.
