Erst vor einigen Jahren entdeckte das große Publikum die Qualitäten des BMW E9. Schönes, italienisches Design in Kombination mit progressiver deutscher Technologie. Ein BMW mit höherem Komfort durch Technologie, mehr als bei anderen vergleichbaren Deutschen Sportwagen. Von der gesamten E9 Serie bringt der CSi mit 200PS die meiste Leistung und ist gleichzeitig auch der begehrenswerteste, ausgenommen das inzwischen unerschwingliche CSi Batmobile, von dem nur 57 Einheiten gebaut wurden. Dank der Motorleistung bietet der CSi Schnellheit und Geschmeidigkeit, was ihn seinerzeit zu einem sehr attraktiven Auto machte. Ausgestattet mit Servolenkung, elektrische Fensterheber, einem großzügigen Innenraum und hohem Sitzkomfort, kann der CSi zum Beispiel mit einem 911er konkurrieren. Der Vergleich ist nicht wirklich fair, aber eine schöne Illustration dessen, welchen Stellenwert der CS für BMW damals im Premium Segment hatte. Eine Probefahrt mit dem CS (Werkscode E9) wird Sie überraschen und überzeugen.Diese CS ist ein besondere. Das Original Interieur ist schön und unbeschädigt. Die Karosserie wurde aus kosmetischen Gründen neu lackiert. Zu diesem Zweck wurden alle Zierleisten und Fenster, so wie man sich das vorstellt, entfernt und mit neuen Dichtungsgummis zurückgebaut. Das Niveau der Facharbeit spiegelt sich im Endergebnis wieder. Exzellente Lackierung, perfektes Karosserieblech und nahtlos anschließende, bewegende Teile.
