Der BMW M3 E30 „JOHNNY CECOTTO“ ist einer von 505 weltweit gebauten Sondermodellen dieses Typs. Eigentlich sind es sogar nur 480 Stück, da 25 Fahrzeuge als Roberto Ravaglia Edition als Rechtslenker nach England geliefert wurden. Seine großen Erfolge feierte Johnny Cecotto in den späten 80er und 90er Jahren in der DTM. Das Sondermodell erhielt den Namen des berühmten Rennfahrers, der für BMW sehr viele Meistertitel mit diesem Modell einfuhr. Unter anderem wurde der M3 E30 als erfolgreichster Tourenwagen aller Zeiten gekürt.
Unser E30 Cecotto trägt die Nummer 103 von 505 gebauten Fahrzeugen und wurde am 13.06.1989 als Showroomfahrzeug für einen Leonberger BMW-Händler produziert. Somit handelt es sich um einen der wenigen deutschen Modelle. Die Erstzulassung des M3 war dann allerdings erst am 16.03.1990. Der M3 hatte ab Werk zur umfangreichen Serienausstattung folgende Sonderausstattungen:

Der Wagen war bis 1999 zugelassen und wurde dann aufgrund eines Pfändungsbeschlusses beim Eigentümer sichergestellt und in einem sehr langjährigen Prozess in einer trockenen Halle mit Sicherheitsverwahrung untergestellt. Erst 2006 wurde der Wagen vom Gericht dann final einem Gläubiger zugesprochen und im Anschluss von diesem abgemeldet.
Der M3 wurde dann von einem Sammler und Enthusiasten in rostfreiem und extrem originalen Zustand mit nur 79.000 Kilometern gekauft und liebevoll überarbeitet. Gerade wegen der langen Standzeit war das Auto rostfrei und in sehr sauberen Zustand. So wurde die gesamte Technik behutsam und fachgerecht überholt und wieder in Betrieb genommen. Dabei wurden ALLE Verschleißteile ausgetauscht! Die Lackierung in Misanorot (die am seltenste gelieferte Farbe beim Cecotto) wurde wegen diverser Kratzer und kleineren Schadstellen äußerlich einmal dünn erneuert, sowie die Innenausstattung aufgearbeitet.
Der BMW präsentiert sich heute in perfekten Neuwagenzustand. Technik, Karosserie, Lackierung als auch der Innenraum sind in Atemberaubenden Zustand und völlig makellos. Sichern Sie sich dieses limitierte Stück Motorsport-Geschichte mit hohem Wertsteigerungspotential!

The BMW M3 E30 "JOHNNY CECOTTO" is one of 505 special models of this type built worldwide. In fact, there are only 480 of them, since 25 vehicles were delivered to England as a right-hand drive as a Roberto Ravaglia Edition. Johnny Cecotto celebrated his great successes in the DTM in the late 80s and 90s. The special model received the name of the famous racing driver, who won many championship titles with this model for BMW. Among other things, the M3 E30 was chosen as the most successful touring car of all time.
Our E30 Cecotto bears the number 103 of 505 vehicles built and was produced on June 13, 1989 as a showroom vehicle for a Leonberger BMW dealer. This makes it one of the few German models. However, the first registration of the M3 was only on March 16, 1990. The M3 had the following optional equipment for the extensive standard equipment ex works:

The car was registered until 1999 and was then secured by the owner on the basis of a garnishment order and placed in a very long process in a dry hall with security storage. It was not until 2006 that the court finally awarded the car to a creditor and then deregistered it.
The M3 was then bought by a collector and enthusiast in a rust-free and extremely original condition with only 79,000 kilometers and lovingly revised. Because of the long service life, the car was rust-free and in a very clean condition. The entire technology was carefully and professionally overhauled and put back into operation. ALL wear parts were replaced! The paintwork in Misano red (the rarest color supplied by Cecotto) was thinly renewed on the outside due to various scratches and minor damage, and the interior was refurbished.
The BMW is in perfect new car condition today. Technology, body, paint and the interior are in breathtaking condition and completely immaculate. Secure this limited piece of motorsport history with high potential for added value!
