This car has had one repaint of the original color about 30 years ago and as you can see in the pics it looks fantastic. Just to find a good chrome shop to redo all the chrome and trim on this car for a restoration would cost you a small fortune. It was done the same time that the paint was. Take advantage of this one while you can. It's not going to last long.
As you look at the interior you will see that the front and rear cloth bench seats are in great shape. The carpet was recently replaced, but everything else is original. This is truly a time capsule of a vehicle and it needs to be in your garage.
Under the hood sits the original 263 Cu In Straight 8 and it is mated to its original 3 on the tree manual transmission. The miles are original on this car and it just floats down the road and shifts smooth as glass. The car itself still runs on the 6 volt system that it was born with. The only thing that has been upgraded to 12 volts is the wiper motor. You have 4 wheel drum brakes to bring everything to a hault. There is no power steering or A/C. This car makes you remember how to drive, in an era where cars practically drive themselves today.
