Buick Roadmaster 5.7L V8 FI OHV 16V 1992

General description : This awesome low mileage 1992 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The origins of the Roadmaster name date back to 1936 when Buick added it to their entire line up. Taken out of Buicks line up the namesake would not return until 1991 with the Estate Wagon. Based on the full-size rear wheel drive B platform sales would see a huge increase with almost 10 times as many cars VS the previous year. This 92 is a great example of these classic wagons. The paint is original with the light blue being one of the more desirable colors. The woodgrain running down the side is classic Roadmaster and still shows extremely well. Many say the reason for these being so successful was the V8 engine under that long-rounded hood. This one retains its original L05 V8 which was rated at 180HP and the precursor to the now legendary LT1. The 4l60 transmission shifts out nice and smooth with the OD giving the ability to run 70 on the highway while keeping the RPM’s down. Open the door and a very clean and original blue leather interior compliments the exterior nicely. Have a seat behind the wheel as you begin to sink in it is easy to see why many say these are the most comfortable cars they ever drove. The suspension is soft giving the car that classic floating feel. The highway of course is where these wagons shine and especially when cruising down the open road. The ones in the back seat get the real treat with the moonroof allowing for clear views of the sky above.
