Buick Skylark 350 CID V8 1964

General description : For sale in our Chicago showroom is this beautiful 1964 Buick Skylark. With a healthy 350 cubic inch V8 and a robust turbo-400 transmission, this Buick is ready to cruise. If you feel the need for more speed, all the hard work has been done to get this baby ready for a big block including boxed control arms, a differential girdle, and that beefy TH-400 3-speed auto. The powerful rumble of this small block will be sure to keep you more than satisfied, however. The suspension is tight and responsive, which is unusual for a car of this era, and the steering is responsive and gives great feedback. The interior of this car started life as your average vinyl material in a pretty “plain-Jane” set up, but has had some custom touches to bring this classic into a modern era. A set of modern bucket seats were fitted with crushed-velvet cloth making for a much lower risk of sitting in a smoldering seat after leaving a car show in the sun all day. What about your hands? Well, luckily, the steering wheel has received the same treatment of being wrapped in a crushed velvet material making for a much more pleasant drive. The body, also had has a bit of massaging. Those with keen eyes will notice the missing chrome strip down the sides of the body making for a much cleaner look on these classic lines. With classic lines, a modern interior, and a sporty rumble, this is a great car to get into the classic car lifestyle, or a great addition to a growing collection.
