Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1937 Chevrolet Pickup! The Master series was first introduced in the early 30s in the heart of the depression. In a time when manufacturers were looking to make cars cheaper due to the hardships this was Chevys higher end line. The Master series would offer many trims to appeal to many markets, coupes, sedans, pickups and more. The Master would see production from 1933 all the way to when the U.S. Government ceased all civilian manufacturing in February of 1942 when America entered WWII because of Pearl Harbor.
Here we have a '37 model, and she is far different than your grandfather's old Chevy. The pink and blue two-tone paint is striking and certainly stands out in a crowd! The shaved door handles and custom pin striping with a touch of light blue, gray, and a different pink shade really gives this truck a show appearance. The light brown and chrome bed flows with the paint well. Notable chrome accents on this trucks exterior would be the whole "Heartbeat of America" tailgate, bumpers, side exhaust, and 14 inch Superior wheels with white letter tires. The grey and black two-tone cloth interior goes well with the exterior and is in nice shape. The GT woodgrain steering wheel is tilt and adjustable and the under-dash venting system keeps you cool while driving. How do you get in and out? With hidden door poppers both inside and out! Powering this '37 is a rebuilt 350 small block V8 engine and mated to a turbo 400 automatic transmission. You'll notice the chrome Edelbrock valve covers, long tube Hooker headers, modern 134a AC compressor, Weber Carburetor, and even Chevrolet "Heartbeat of America" covers. The truck runs and drives out well and has a nice sound to it. The current owner has had her for over a year, acquired from our Indy location. Before that it was in the same family for over 40 years! The title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name now! Whether you want a sharp ride to take to shows or a weekend cruiser, this truck has you covered! Options on this Chevy include: A/C, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Door Poppers, Tilt Wheel, AM/FM Radio, Rally Wheels, and Radial Tires. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
